Jessica Dube is a retired Canadian pair skater who had suffered a severe injury during a performance in 2008. At the Four Continents Championship in South Korea, Dube's partner's skate accidentally slashed her left cheek just above her lip. The injury required 80 stitches to close and caused her to withdraw from the competition. Despite the injury, Dube returned to competitive skating and represented Canada at the 2010 Winter Olympics.
